Yes, two reasons.

Updating is now not constant for two reasons:

1) Trials. Duh.
2) My computer got taken over by a Trojan Horse pretending to be an Antivirus. It is both very annoying and quite amusing - y'know, to what lengths these people go to make our lives miserable.

Oh, and I watched WALL-E, which was quite nice, but not exactly that awesome. Then I watched Clone Wars because Nazim wanted to. It was NOT awesome. Then bought a Hancock DVD. And y'know, I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite good.

And, I'm reading Breaking Dawn. No offence to you loyal fans, but I laughed every time Bella cried. And the birthing scene was horrifying. And Jacob's imprinting makes me unhappy. :(

Here, have a drawing. Drew her days ago. 'Tis Reina, from my Dime Trap story. She's the one with the aeroplane. Whee.

Dreampiphany

Went to eat mee rebus at Plaza Damas just now, and made friends with a little stray cat. Hanna wanted to call it Pancake, Nazim wanted to call it Cheesecake. They later settled with the name Nickname. Y'know, as a nickname? I love their logic, seriously.

And little Nickname followed Hanna all over the place, since that she was the one dropping bits of chicken haphazardly all over the place. And Hanna said:

"He won't stop following me! Haha. It's because he thinks I'm cute."

To which Mama laughed. And Hanna got embarrassed and distracted her by asking, "Why are we still waiting, is it for the satay?"

In other news, I got hit by a dream-piphany. Which is basically my way of saying, I got a dream which sparekd a story idea in my head. And I feel so guilty, because my current SIPUT project is still floundering in many hurried scribblings and incomplete musings while this dream story already has a basic plot and a title. A TITLE. Dear lord. D:

Anyway, I dreamed that I was a boy. My name was Fever (WTFish, brain? 'Fever'? xD). I lived in a pirate ship with my mother, who looks a hella lot like Chandler's transvestite dad in Friends, and my little sister. We're having a party in our pirate ship room below deck, and I have a heart-to-heart with my mother. Then the doorbell rings, and I thought that it was my father, but instead, it was my mother's boyfriend, this real kooky sorta guy with big glasses. But he was a nice guy, seriously.

Then the dream turns into something of a cyber-western action movie. These guys with guns turn up and start shooting everyone, and they hit an eleven year old boy. They steal a bunch of robots (which looked like TVs on wheels) and run off, leaving the town in chaos. I'm not the Fever-boy anymore at this point ... I'm just observing, like a movie viewer. There's this woman, in the classic leather jacket and tight jeans with short hair, following this little hippie lady who could talk to robots. And one of the robots which wasn't stolen was hanging from a fire escape, cooing to itself and saying, "Oh no, I like it here very much, thanks. Whee."

And the dream changes again. I'm sort of watching Fever, who has now somehow transported himself into an alternate dimension, watching this girl building an aeroplane. He helps the girl out, but she can't see him. And I had the feeling that he loved her. That's about when I woke up.

So, yes. Story idea like WHOA, man. I even have a title for it: Dime Trap. I think it has a nice ring to it. :D Doodlings probably in the future. This does not mean I'm abandoning my SIPUT project. Far from it. It's better this way, I think ... my brain was starting to go stale, mulling over the same ideas all the time. This is a breath of fresh air. The SIPUT project will always be my baby. <3>

The arguments on IMDb Boards regarding racism in movies are:
Long-winded
Redundant
and
Annoying.

Dude. The racism you're all pointing at and howling about? Doesn't exist. It's because of you people, bringing up the topic of racism, that these arguments even exist.
Sheesh.
What with the war on Twilight boards, the over-popularity of The Dark Knight boards, the Western vs. Asian hoo-ha on Dragonball boards, the inactivity on Avatar boards, the Harry Potter boards' anger at WB for pushing the movie back and the idiot racism arguments EVERYWHERE ...
No message board is FUN anymore.
*closes IMDb window*

Man, sometimes I really hate people on the Internet.
Or maybe just people in general.
Not you people reading this, ya'll are cool.

Ps. No, wait. Hollywood is to blame too. Haha.

15 things

Lots of holiday-tags flying around. Which is just as well, since that the lack of school-time chatter has robbed me of interesting bits of life to share. xD

3 Golden Rules.
State 15 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about yourself. The 10 people I tag are to then to follow my footsteps and write their own 15 weird things/habits and little known facts.. No tag backs.

1.
I like to watch people around me, the way they react towards things. Same goes for when I'm watching shows, or reading books.
2. I have two 'voices': the one I use normally, and the one I use with people of authority, i.e. teachers, etc. (I also use this one when answering phones. xD)
3. I take pride in thinking of things differently than other people.
4. I have a slight fear of being awkward around guys since that SA is a girls' school.
5. I always feel the need to buy a book when I go to a bookstore. Doesn't matter if I don't need it.
6. I like to give weird names to things.
7. I am a nagger. Nag, nag, naggity nag. xD
8. Sometimes, I wish that my fictional characters are real. I want to introduce them to all my RL friends and sit back to watch the hilarity ensue.
9. I think being a prefect is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
10. I re-checked my 'hot guys' list. Majority are British. LOL.
11. I don't mind anime, but I'm upset about the lack of 'other-style' artists I know in real life.
12. I want to do something really BIG before I leave school. I just don't know what.
13. I think that I have the coolest dreams ever. :D
14. I want to get the chance to swim with dolphins one day.
15. ... and now I have the sudden urge to re-write my "List of Things To Do Before I Kick The Bucket". O_o *runs off to find pen and good notebook*

Who to tag ... dude, too many people have done this already. xD So, again, I leave this open to the public to decide for themselves.

Lemme see that sense o' humour.

1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?
Depending on how much I'm attached to said person, possibly shed a few tears, then plot the most humiliating break-up ever. I could end up on his list of 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriends'. Buahaha.

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
SPM straight As, I suppose.

3. Describe your dream wedding.
Strange. I never imagine my wedding. Not in detail anyway.

4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you?
Um. Not really ...

5. What is your ideal lover like?
Grigg. Jane Austen's Book Club. Nad knows. :D

6. Which is more blessed? Loving someone or being loved by someone?
Both ways, I say.

7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you love?
No idea.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Move on. It's strange how this happens quite easily ... but then again, I've never been closely-attached to the secret-admiree.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Not really.

10. Is being tagged fun?
Yeah. :D

11. How do you see yourself in ten years time?
Living life to the fullest and being paid for it. Whoot.

12. Who are the most important people to you?
Friends and family, what can I say.

13. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
She's mah bestest buddey. <3

14. Would you be single and rich or married and poor?
Single and rich. Better than being depressed in that moneyless marriage.

15. What is the first thing you do every morning?
I'm still dreaming? Oh yeah, I am. Keep eyes closed. Dream is too much fun.

16. Would you give your all in a relationship?
Depends on who's on the other side.

17. If you fell in love with two people at the same time, who would you choose?
Knowing me, I'd do my head in trying to decide and list the pros and cons.

18. What type of friends do you like?
The ones who accept you for who you are, and are there for you.

19. What type of friends do you dislike?
The kind who make idiot jokes. No offence to anyone who feels offended. But ... yeah. Jokes that don't make sense. Like ... rude ones. Yeah. As you can see, I value your sense of humour very highly. Bah. xD

Eight suckers to tag :
I already tagged people just before this, so ... anyone who feels compelled to do this, be my VIP guest. :)

Star-gazing, whoooo.

The sibs and I are staying over at our grandparents' place, so we ended up watching Star Wars in Acu's room till midnight. So, we're giggling around and making jokes about Luke's eyes talking (Love me, Daddy!!! There's still GOOD in youuuuu!) and why Mira and I never noticed that Han Solo has a senget smile:

Me: Dude, we're supposed to notice when guys have senget smiles. Y'know, 'cause it's hot [senget smiles].
Mira: Yeah ... and ... Han Solo is handsome.
Me: Not hot.
Mira: Yeah. Dunno why.
Me: Maybe it's because we know that Harrison Ford is like ... past 60.
Mira: Yeah, that's why.

Then, when commenting on Leia's 'outfit' while the scenes with Jabba the Hut:

Acu: Wow, the princess sure is showing off LOT.
Me: Hmmm. Well ... they're in the desert. It's ... hot? :'D
Acu: But Luke is wearing black. That should be even hotter!
Me: But he's got the Force.
Mira: His own air-cond blowing around inside his baju!
Me: Yeeeaaaaahh. Learning the Force is a package deal.

Then, randomly later while watching Darth Vader ...

Mira: I wonder how he goes to the toilet.
Me: He's a machine. I don't think he goes to the toilet. Or eat, for that matter.
Mira: But still.
Me: Well, he' one with the Force. Magical pee-holding Force?
Mira: Or, he's just got a bag down there to catch everything.
Both of us: *crack up*

During the plane-shooting scene:

Mira: What is that thing? [one of the aliens]
Me: Looks like a ... fish.
Nazim: It's shaped like a sotong.
Me: Well then. Sotong fish.
Mira: I bet they just smooshed them both together.

And, at the very very end, where everyone's celebrating, and you can see the ghosts of the three Jedis who died?

Me: Hey look! It's Obi-Wan ... and Yoda ... and ... HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN??!
Acu: WHAT.
Me: There!
Acu and Mira: Whaaaaat, Hayden Christensen?? :
Me: What the fish? What's he doing there?
Hayden Christensen in movie: *continues to smile happily*
The rest of us: :O
Mira: I feel sorry for the old actor guy who played Anakin in this first trilogy.

So yes, people. Buy the new Star Wars box set! You'll get a random Hayden Christensen cameo. Yup. I'm still not over the weirdness.

Too baaaad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATUK!
and
HAPPY SWEET 16th SOFEYA!

Firstly, regarding the WB decision in moving the HBP movie to July next year: WTFish, people. WTFish. You're all a bunch of greedy no-good wingdings. If the movie's good, even if you release it on the coldest winter night, it'll top the box office. So what if the writer's strike killed a few things? All the other movies and tv shows pulled through OK. Heck, 2008 is a pretty good movie year in my opinion. I can sense your fear! I bet you guys think the film sucks. Well too bad. >:(

Secondly, hey guys, SA now gives you your homework online! Yippie-kay-yay. *waves white flag miserably*

Oh, I borrowed Breaking Dawn from Sab. It was a very spur-of-the-moment thing; she happened to have the book, but Tarsha was absent, so couln't pass to her. So I took it instead. Haven't read it yet. I just don't have the mood. :(

By the way, I finished reading Nightrise a few days ago. SPOILERS ahead. I thought it was really good. :) My favourite of the series so far. The story starts off a few weeks before the ending of the second book, with Scott and Jamie Tyler instead of the protagonist of the first two books, Matt Freeman. They both have powers; they can read minds, and they've got the whole Jedi-mindtrick deal going on. xD

Anyway, Scott gets kidnapped by the Nightrise Corporation, a company that supports the return of the Old Ones (basically, the evil bad guys). Jamie, lost and confused, ends up getting help from Alice McGuire, a woman who's searching for her son Danny, who was also kidnapped by the company. Horowitz's writing is simple, but effective; I can see everything clearly in my mind. Very good stuff. And the plot is finally starting to come together, giving us a clear picture of just what exactly is happening in this series.

So far, Jamie is my favourite of the Five; Matt is too much of a classic hero for me, and Pedro comes in second. We don't see too much of Scott from the book, but he comes off as the troubled one of the group, if you ask me. The fifth one, the girl, is Scarlett ... but I'm not sure whether I'll like her yet, because we've only met her 'past self'. And the indication is that she might turn out to be the one who does an anti-hero ... but I won't know till the next book, coming out in October.

Here starts the month of Merdeka.

Spent most of today sticking many sheets of paper into my komsas book, to pass up. There were so many papers, and no time to paste, and I panicked towards the end of the day when the junior prefects came to halau us to the hall for Merdeka celebration. No offence, juniors, but I now know the feeling when I halau-ed my own non-prefect seniors last year ... yeah, I feel their pain. They could have expressed it a lot more politely though.

So when I went down to the hall, it was packed, I was late, and feeling miserable to boot. I cheered up slightly after chatting to Hamizah about NS, and groaning over the fact that we'll have to kawat when we go next year. But I still wasn't in the mood, y'know? I waved the little Jalur Gemilang they gave me, but there was absolutely no feeling.

Then they started playing the songs. And y'know what? They are my favourite part about Merdeka celebrations. I was always the little kid who adored being patriotic; I got so excited when celebrations started and I always sang the words at the very top of my lungs. And some of that feeling came back when they played my personal favourite, Tanggal 31. Sure, call me lame and geeky, but I always threw a bit of a tantrum when they didn't play it the past few years at school.

It seriously cheered me up. I was singing in the worst off-key voice imaginable (I never realised I was so terrible at reaching that particular note; thank god everyone was too loud to hear me!) and waving the little flag and jumping whenever the song reached the climax point of MERDEKA!.

After school, I could hear Papa cheering at the TV - the Malaysian track cyclist managed to beat US. I think it was a qualifying round, I'm not sure. Then after tuition, I heard Papa yelling again - this time it was badminton, and it was soooo good. (Papa in the background: YES! YES!) Yup, still doing good.

Papa in background: YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHH YEEAAAAHHHH YEEESSSSS!

DUDE! MALAYSIA GOT IN THE FINALS! WHOOT. :D

SMS from Ms. M: Yahoo!

YESSSSSSS.
You go, Malaysia. KEEP IT UP.

Krash ... down in the dumps? xD

Look at what Krash has gotten himself into. xD

Apparently, someone left some chewed up chicken wing in the little dustbin. Krash sniffed it out, and being the greedy and eternally hungry little monster he is, he tried to squeeze himself in through the cover flap.
Well, he got stuck.
Silly thing. <3

Nabila, who doesn't want to go to NS, was feeling particularly miserable today ... not because she was chosen, but because her parents want her to apply. Jayshini thought that applicants to NS would have to pay in order to take part, so Nabila was momentarily relieved ...

Nabila: (to Mr. H) Hey teacher, we have to pay if we want to apply for NS, right?
Mr. H: Oh, no. They will pay you! Don't worry, you don't have to pay to apply. *is then distracted by other classmates*
Nabila: STUPID! *storms to the back of class* Sophie, I wanna switch parents with you.
Sophie: (who wants to go NS but parents don't allow) OK! :D

Funny world we live in.

Names.

The number of Amanians who got NS is quite shocking. I mean ... there are loads of us. I'll continue that in a mo.

Anyway, I was incredibly excited yesterday. Mama told Papa via sms (his reply was: "Yahoo!" xD) and I told Acu. She asked if I was OK with it, and I'm like, hell yeah! I went to tuition and told Ms. M about it. She got all excited, because I'm her very first student to get NS. "Nanti you see me at the pagar, and I'll call out, "Hi Saraaaa!" Haha!"

Then this morning, Ms. F let the ones who're going to NS ask her questions, since that she worked with 'em a few years back. She even wrote the schedule on the board. Wake up at 5, sleep at 11. And that's if you don't get a night shift duty thing ... patrolling in the middle of the night with a flashlight. The thought sends excited chills down my spine.

Then I visited Syafika Z.'s blog ... she went to NS last year. And that just made me even more excited, and a little worried. I mean, there'll be people from all over the country, and I'm scared that I won't be able to communicate. What with all the different accents and my cacat-ed BM ... xD

So, yeah. Not including me, here's the updated list of people who got the whole TAHNIAH message (I know for some, they were more of "Whaddaya mean, 'tahniah'??? D:" But many others are pretty cool about it.) :

Chyna, Rui Rong, Nadiah B., Gaya, Precillia, Nahjan, Ling Shin, Jaya, Alny, Mai, Shumi, Jayshini, Izzati, Nazia, Athirah A., Ellena R., Farah Diana J., Pei Min, Yen Li, Huda, Dahlia, Michelle C., Najwa, Hamizah, Sandra, N. Phatimah, Sharmilaa, Attiya, Chan ...

Loads more. Just can't remember the names. xD

Focus, Sara! SPM first. Then NS!

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Wait.

This is me, waiting for NS results. I dunno how to feel about it actually. One way, I don't have that many plans for next year. And I believe that this would be one of the greatest adventures ever. And I've dreamed of doing that kind of stuff since I started reading action books. xD

On the other hand, I can't imagine having to go away for 3 months. 3 MONTHS. So yeah. I'm constantly checking the website, and I sent an SMS, just to be sure. Hmm.

Pn. L threatened to chase us around the padang today. Everyone squealed and pretended that we already went. I kept quiet; I kinda want to be chased around the padang. It would have woken me up at least. xD Of course, Pn. L wasn't fooled. But she didn't do anything about it, so ah well.

EDIT: OMG I'M GOING TO NS.
WHAT DO I DO NOW?
SCREAM FOR JOY?
ACTUALLY, ALRIGHT, SINCE I'M GOING ANYWAY, SO WHAT THE HELL.
WHOOPYAY. :D
There was a part of me that was worried I wouldn't get it.

Others who also got it (no particular order) :
Ling Shin
Jaya
Gaya
Chyna
Rui Rong
Nicole
Nazia
Nahjan
Nadiah B.
Ellena

Will update when more people find out.

Fashion out da windooww. :D

This pic made me LOL so hard. I had to share it with the world.
Say it with me, Mira! "THEY SO MACHO."
xD
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ATUK!
I meant to post yesterday, but I forgot. ^^;;

Pn. L chased a bunch of us to class today. Because we were walking slowly. Evelyn happened to be walking behind us, and she got most of the poking. The rest of us ran, ran as in "OMG RUN FOR YOUR LIVES D:" but couldn't really, because a few of us were sporting heavy bags. So yeah, that was funny. xD

Oh, and to any Twilighters reading this space, check this out: Clicky! Something I drew during the weekend. Inspired by Sofeya quoting poor Edward on her blog. xD

Other than that, today was tiring. I dunno why exactly. Anyway, Internetzz time for me is now limited. I'm only online right now because I'm finishing up an Agama presentation. I need to study for Trials.

Ps. Damn you SA FORMATIVE. Dx *shakes fist*

EDIT: This happened just now during dinner:
*Nazim and Hanna just watched Friends*
Ross: I haven't had sex in a long time!
Hanna: Yeah, Ross hasn't had six in a long time! *giggles like the six-year old she is*
Me: Yeah ... he hasn't had ... six.
Mama: Uh-huh, he hasn't been sick for a long time.

Dangerous places :P

This post contains information which shouldn't be read by people who are uncomfortable discussing reproduction. Just a heads up.

The Internetz is a very dangerous place indeed. Especially when it comes down to what everyone refers to as 'free speech'. I just got back from a very heated discussion on several message boards, and felt like putting this out there.

By the way, I'm a lurker in the land of the train-wreck which is what used to be a pretty cool Twilight-Fandom. I'm a little sad that everyone's turning on each other and shooting amongst themselves, but what're you going to do about it? The Twilight Lexicon decided to, uh, prohibit any criticizing of the series, which resulted in their site getting hacked into. I do feel sorry for them, but heck, they should have seen this coming. This is an angry fandom we're talking about.

Ooh, found this on the IMDb boards:
[in response to an argument about just how Bella can get pregnant when Edward clearly shouldn't be able to reproduce]
"...Unless the [vampire] venom did some freaky stuff to his jizz which would just be weird. Can you imagine if the venom turned his little swimmers into vampire sperm? Oh what a funny place Edward's testicles must be!"
- craaaazzzyally

... I LOL'ed. xD

Sooo, moving on. The first Pendragon book has been made into a graphic novel! :D The cover looks lame and cheesy, but I read the first 35 pages, and it doesn't look bad. The drawings are nice, although Courtney is nothing like how I imagine her and Uncle Press looks ... Native American. But Mark looks exactly like how I pictured him, so I'm pretty much satisfied.

Today was an OK day. Except for the fact that Pn. B have sold us off to the CLP. We wailed and we begged and we whined, but to no avail. We will be having class with the CLP on Monday. And I don't care if this proves 'dedication', etc. etc., you can't be of any help when everyone hates your guts. Seriously. Maybe it would help if you stopped threatening to leave us in the lurch and just do that already. Just ... argh. D:

Happy day

AIS KRIM GORENG
Hot on the outside ... but cold on the inside! *waggles eyebrows*
Hahah. Lol.
I'd detail this more, but ... it works better in person. Laksh and I would be only too happy to oblige.

Before recess, Chan and I went around school to give these prize coupons to some girls. We went to 1F, but they weren't in class. But dude, they've got the best floor EVER. Chan and I were sliding all over it, and doing ice-skating twirls. xD We tried to do it again in the Form5 block corridor, but all that happened was a miserable scuffing sound by our shoes.

Recess consisted of more DEMON CHILD bashing:
Me: *does not say anything at all, just to be clear*
Tarsha: *sits down next to me* OK, tell me.
Me: *knows exactly what she means* *turns to Jane* I'm gonna tell her about the DEMON CHILD.
Jane: *facepalm* It's so stupid.
Me: *explains about DEMON CHILD, breaking bones, fountains of blood and V-C-section.*
Laksh: *snorts into drink every five seconds* Heehee, V-C-section.
Jane: *mumbles into bowl of dunno-what soup xD* I'm trying to eat here ...
Tarsha: O_O

Hmm, now I re-read the last few lines, it sounds like I'm detailing an Aliens movie. Huh.

After recess, we watched the Bukit Kepong movie. Which was kinda boring until everyone starts shooting and people drop dead all over the place. Then we came to the bus scene, and everyone leans forward.
Nazia: They're not going to show them lah.
Sophie: *leans forward anyway*
Me: Yeah. I doubt they'll show.
Movie: *shows the take-off-clothes scene*
Nazia and I: Ooookay, proven wrong.

Then during History:
Mr. H: ... Julius Caesar and Cleopatra had a son, Caesarian ...
Me: *mutters* Dude. That's worse than the DEMON CHILD.
Mr. H: ... and he was murdered by Mark Anthony ...
Laksh: *also muttering* Who later took a boat to Mexico and met J.Lo!
Both of us: *crack up silently*
Mr. H: *continues until he starts talking about Chinese emperors' concubines*
Nabila: China has a lot of porcupines? O_o
Mr. H: Yes, over 4000 concubines!
Nabila: That's a lot of porcupines.
Sophie: Aww, porcupines! They're so cute. <3
Me: Wait, what're you talking about?!

Then later, at Ed Board's interview session for next year's team:
Me: *to English Segment applicants* What books do you read?
Various Applicants: Harry Potter/Twilight/Meg Cabot/Gossip Girl/Cecelia Ahern
Me: *after interviews are over* ... Nobody reads Anthony Horowitz. :(
Jane: I read Anthony Horowitz.
Me: *feels slightly better* :D

Sooo, that was my happy day of funniness. How was yours?! :D *cue glittery hearts and sparkling flowers*

Papers!

That's the exam schedule. It's tiny, but I'm sure you guys don't want to know the details, already have them or just don't have to. :P
But, you can pretty much tell how my November is going to go. Blue is for languages. Pink is mathematics. Green's for the sciences. And purple is for anything else (i.e. Sejarah and P. Islam.)

In fandom-news, I've finished reading the chapter-by-chapter review of Breaking Dawn. This is because I refuse to buy the book itself, and I pretty much don't care about the SPOILERS. But y'know what? This book is incredible. It is so full of fantastic WEIRD that I can't help but stare at it feeling awed/disturbed. I mean ... well, you'll have to read it for yourself. I'll just say that the plot is reminiscent of badly-written fanfiction. But, like I said in my previous post, not at all boring. Nope.

But anyway, to all those Twilight-cynics of the world, here's a link to the most hilarious chapter-by-chapter book reviews on the Internet: click here for the lolz <--- WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS AND FOUL LANGUAGE. PROCEED WITH CAUTION. And you don't have to be a cynic to read it. After all, a true fan would be one who would have the guts to laugh at this kind of stuff.

In Real Life news, I think I may have Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. O_o;; Hanna's been having it for the past few days, and I'm starting to show symptoms, i.e. sores/blisters on hands and feet, sore throat, ulcers. But, y'know, it usually only affects kids and babies, so ... my immune system should be able to fight it off.

Should. D: Immune system? D'you ... d'you hear me? You should be able to. You must. I mean ... I hope it's just a minor case thingy. But the Wikipedia page on it scares me a little. Nazim and Mira are having it too, I think. It's semi-contagious. Should we be allowed in school? :\

Ah well it isn't confirmed that we have it anyway ... I'll just chug some vitamin C down. *runs off looking for oranges*

Normality.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IFFAH
ol' buddy ol' pal.
*throws rubbery cicak* :D
I know you're not a pink freak anymore, but what the heck.

In other news, HAZE upon us! Grab your gas masks!

In other other news, school today was fun. Said toodloo to the moral students, who went to FRIM. The signed this really long cloth banner thing. It's supposed to go into the Malaysian Record Book or whatever. Something about longest merdeka-happy banner ever. It would be a lot more cooler if they let everyone write in different languages, to display the DIVERSE RACES in the country. And, not limiting us to really cheesy phrases that made me feel guilty and not at all patriotic.

Then we watched some cheerleading vids and gymrama vids that we did during PJ with Cik F. That was funny. Then we watched a student drama of Puteri Hang Li Po during BM. Recess was uneventful. Chemistry was ... normal. And there was no Physics, so Nazia, Iffah, Sophie and I bonded with the two trainee teachers.

I'm posting a lot lately. Hmmm.

EDIT: Found this while surfing the net:

"Just got back from Borders, where they took back my book [Breaking Dawn] with no problem. Got into a discussion with the cashier about how I was the 15th(!!!) person to bring my book back today. Seems like many customers felt that SM was not true to her characters and her self created Twilight world, and are calling foul." -- quoted by julian_black on LiveJournal.com

The tagline for this is "Don't Burn It, Return It."
And I'm all, duuuuude. This looks like serious business. (cue Joker-reel saying "Why So Serious?") I know the ending wasn't the best in the world, but ... I'm wondering what Stephenie Meyer's got to say for herself now.

EDIT2: I read up more on the DEMON CHILD and I can't take it, THERE'S SO MUCH BLOOD. Ah well Sara, this is what happens when you ask book writers for gory, bloody endings. Avatar wouldn't give it to you, so ... eh, well the DEMON CHILD decided to oblige. Egghyuk. At least it's not boring. Completely weirded like palatypus crap, but nope, not boring.

Motivational speech free with every Happy Meal.

Mira: *yells at Nazim for drinking her Strawberry F&N*
Nazim: *giggles uncontrollably while fending off Mira*
Mira: *storms out of room*
Nazim: *still giggling*
Me: *very ticked off by all the yelling* Keluar!
Nazim: Hola!
Me: O_o;; Keluar!
Nazim: *still giggling, runs out of room*

Seriously. That boy does an awful lot of giggling.
Ooh, and a shout-out to Hannah's mom, who reads this web space. :D Hey Aunty!

Anyway, today wasn't as bad as I feared. Bio was incredibly fun. Laksh and I constantly related the Bio-topics to DEMON CHILD. Of course, none of you will understand what this DEMON CHILD is. Let me just say, when the time is right, and you ask me the right question, I might just enlighten you. ;)

Moving on, not everything was Fun and Laughter (tm) today. For one, I realised just what kind of effect Stupid Paper Monkey is having on our *ahem* society. Or maybe it's just the society itself. Whatever.

There are so many people who don't like school anymore. And that makes me sad. :( Not only that, but there's so much animosity flying all over the place. And people being depressed. And people who've just thrown caution to the winds and just don't care anymore.

Let's just say that the beginning of this year, everyone was so happy. I hope - no, pray - that I'll be able to see it again before we graduate. It's our last year, guys. I say we rock it. (I suggest doing the most awesome prank in SA history, but then again, that's just me wanting to act like Giggly!Jim in the first part of the post. And yeah, Jim is my pet name for Nazim. Yup. xD)

So let's give the remainder of the year our all, yeah? Maybe the teachers don't think that we live up to what our seniors built, but that doesn't mean we can't leave an impact on them. :) It's OK, it's alright, c'mon Form 5s ... fight fight FIGHT.

Ps. Blog Poll Numero Dos is up! Vote vote vote! :D

Scribble-mode and poll-analysing.

Updated my blog layout! :D My blog malfunctioned earlier this week and my layout went all wonky. That was why it was white all the time. I thought of putting the old blue-splatter up again, but felt like drawing something (I haven't touched Bamboo in two weeks!). So here's the new layout, complete with The Fish. Which is the name of the little leopard, by the way. He's the plushie I go to sleep with every night (other than Roony the homemade rabbit. lol.).

I coloured the same way I did for the SPMonkey some posts back. It's lotsa fun to do. I'm thinking of making a cutesy little-kids series of as many animals as I can. It's simple, and a great way to de-stress, compared to drawing one of my human characters and slapping the colours on (I've got like, ten unfinished drawings of characters from my SIPUT project story thing. And I don't think I ever will finish them.).

Anyway, blog poll results! According to the statistics ...
Many people enjoy good-looking villains over all other aspects. xD With the number of hot fictional villains out there? Buaha. (But yess, they are indeed hot.) And, people also like cookies. Nobody thinks that bad guys should be hated. Haha. Wow. xD I'll probably have another poll up in a while, I'll just have to think of one first.

And, well, that's all I have to say for the moment. Just a short, quick update. Ooh, and by the way, holler out which animal I can draw next. I don't guarantee that I'll get it done, but I'd appreciate the input anyways. ;) Ciao, guys.

Holy spoilery bad endings, vamp-man.

Remember the stuff I was referring to two posts ago?
About a book series?
And the lame ending?
And wanting an in-depth SPM-bio style study of vampire biology?
IT'S ALL TRUE.

EWW.
EW AGAIN.
It's so awful.

The loch ness monster livesss. Cheesily. And lamely. It lives. D:
I'm so so sorry, Twilighters.
I want to borrow the book from someone. I will not spend good money on Breaking Dawn when I could easily splurge on Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox and go crazy over the antics of a teenage genius.
Instead of crying/laughing hysterically over the epic fail that is the ending of Twilight.
Dude, I've seen fanfiction with better endings. Ugh. *facepalm*

*yanks tie*

School started off great, then ended on a note so bitter, I choked. Or rather, tried to with the stupid striped tie.

I mean, I was set to enjoy the best of school days, i.e. the kind that only has four subjects, one of which is put on hold where we have to go to a pretty fun ceramah. And also the kind where I get to talk all day long no problemo. I got to discuss the finer points of film and literature (Hehe, the Avatar finale and the latest Pendragon book) with Tarsha, have an easy-going Bio lesson (I love learning Bio when it's human-related), build plot-points with Nad, good food for recess (seriously, prefects? Really good food-providers. xD I'm lookin' at you, Nahjan and Anne.), and one of those Agama class days where Ustazah tells super-cool Rasul stories.

And then the last two periods arrived.

And all I have to say is: I am tired of this. I'm sick and tired of getting teachers who completely make me feel like hating English. The last English teacher I really enjoyed was Pn. C (Yup teacher, it was you in Form 1. ;] ). It's not teaching-wise ... but just the way they make me feel during class. And Pn. B is really nice, but I hate it when she starts going on about us not paying attention in class and about letters.

I understand that you've got to get the job done, but really, I get so so so tired. So so tired of how that's the first thing you ever say when you come into class. None of us have ever had to worry about frickin' letters. None of the other teachers seemed to care. Form 5 seems a lot too late to plant the habit into us, considering we're ready to not care anymore.

And then, to all those other people who make me want to choke myself with the stupid tie even more. No offence, fellow classmates; but really, when a teacher starts off on a tangent and tells you to shut up? SHUT THE HELL UP. STOP THE FREAKING GIGGLING. Almost every single class, guys. I want to tear my lungs out every time a teacher howls at us about paying attention. Not all of you, of course. Most of you are super-cool classmates. But some of you (or one of you, I can't really decide).

So yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I'm acting like a total a-hole right now. But I had to get this off my chest. Oh, and here's another thing I want to get off my chest:

Stop hushing people when you're the one who's making the noise, you moron. I'm quite aware that you want to be every teacher's bestest friend. Stupid hypocrite. Just because you throw the story in first doesn't make you the person in the right. You're like that stupid kid in The Pencil story in Form 1, when he stole the pencil and squealed to the teacher that the other kid tried to steal it from you first.

You make me sick.

Sigh. I was pissed off all the way outside the school gates, and even in the car when Mama picked me up. I cheered up considerably when she took us to Subang Parade to visit the fish spa ... y'know, just to give it a try. It was incredibly ticklish. xD I closed my eyes because every time I saw just how many little fishies were gnawing at my legs, I'd get all giddy. But I got used to it after five minutes. My legs were all smooth afterwards. And the skin on my hand is slightly better (all you people close to me, you know about my hand) ... I could actually clench it properly (the way you're supposed to in Taekwando), something I've had trouble doing since last year.

So I'm thankful that something sweet happened after all the bitterness. It was a ... cute experience. xD
