Loch Ness Monster sized spoilers, lol.

So I've been hopping around, poking my nose in the business of fictional characters, if you will. Fun stuff, gossiping about fictional characters. For one, they'll never hunt you down and gossip about you back. Which is why I believe it is a reasonably safe hobby. (insert LOL here)

So I read a couple of spoilers about a certain book coming out in August. Good luck finding out what book it is, there are quite a few coming out this season. All kinds of epic series continuations, y'know? So all I can say is ... if these spoilers are true, and not an incredibly fanfiction-inspired load of mumbo-jumbo, I really do pity all the fangirls of the world. And yes, the blog title does have something to do with this. But you'll only get it after you know.

Ah well. If it is true, I will have something to laugh about in these dark times (meh, it's quite bright nowadays. And hot too.). But if it is true, I want a detailed description of vampire biology. Seriously.

Whoops, did I let something slip? *whistles and moves on*

Meanwhile, there is nothing interesting to note about school. I'm actually doing very well with catching up on my homework. But now I've got studying to catch up on. GRRAHHH damn you SA formative marks.

In other news, the Commonwealth Essay Competition results are out. I got a Highly Commended, which made me extremely happy. The results were supposed to be out on Monday, but there were technical difficulties and stuff ... so I was hanging around in suspense (Yes, I am indeed lame that way.). And when they did upload, I only saw two SA girls names, juniors. And I'm all: "Oh. Well. That's OK ... I still have next year. Yeah. *sadface*"

Then I scrolled back up to see if anyone I knew from other schools got certs. Then, I saw three SA names, which I didn't see the first time around. I saw Rui Rong ... then Nahjan ... then me. And I started squealing and grabbing Mira by the shoulders and going hyper. Alhamdulillah. This was the one individual-based competition I really wanted to excel in. So yes. They got Papa's name wrong (again) but that's alright. Man, that really gave me a high.

So yes. I am quite happy at the moment.

PS. 2 days left to vote on my poll! If you haven't, please do. I'm interested in seeing the final results (even though I pretty much know what the majority likes right now, harhar.).

The only reason I don't regret going to school on Saturday:

*During teacher-less classroom discussion on why we were in school on a Saturday morning*

Syar: Eh! Kucing! Kucing!
Everyone else: Huh? Where?
Me: *turns to right window* MONKEY!
Sophie: *running towards said window* MONKEY!
Everyone else: *also running towards windows* MONKEY! not kucing.
Monkey: *sitting on garden roof thingy* WTFish, crazy schoolgirls. :|
Sheren and Sophie: *makes faces* Hisssss.
Monkey: *bares teeth* Hisssss!
Everyone else: MONKEY ARRHHH OMG.
Me: *watching the hissing* Urm, I don't think we should -
Sheren and Sophie: *still hissing*
Monkey: *loses temper and moves towards us with death-glare face* >:(
Me: *slams window shut* CLOSE THE WINDOWS!
Everyone else: *panic, scream and slam windows shut* AAAAAAAARRRHHHHH!
Sheren: AH OMG, it programmed my face, IT'S OUT TO GET ME! I'm going to have to be protected ... like Chuck!
Me: By hot FBI agent?
Sheren: Ohhh yess.
Me: Male of course, unlike Chuck's.
Sheren: That too.

*temporary peace where everyone sits back down and laugh*
*Five minutes later*

Someone I can't remember: *points to left side of classroom* AAAHHH MONKEY AGAIN!
Everyone else: *Combination of yelling, slamming windows shut and wanting to see it* MONKEY!
Monkey: *walking along rainwater harvesting tank thingy* WTFish, they're still screaming at me. :|
Sheren: AAAHHH it's out to get me! D:
Sophie: We have to be protected!
5SB people plus Pn. Nitce: *run out of classroom* Huh? Monkey? Where?
Monkey: *has vamoosed*

So yeah. That's why I don't regret going.

This post has nothing to do with Physics.

So much 'background radiation' everywhere.
I'll stay out of it, but seriously, it feels like a cold war.
Sometimes I feel like throwing a punch at anyone - anything. Speaking of which, thanks Soph for being a real pal and letting me vent to you. ;)
But yeah.
I'm always the last person to know what's 'going on'. You guys talk about popular people, and I go, "Eh, who?" You guys talk about an event, and I'm like, "Since when ...?"
But now, I feel like I know too much.
I feel unclean.
*scrubs self vigorously*
Maybe ignorance really is bliss.

Oddity of Ends

I post too slow, I think. So many eventful things in life, so little blog posts! I didn't even talk about My Epic Weekend. So I will, just 'cause it was the most epic fun I've had in terms of fangirling. First, I watched Dark Knight (cue "Oooh" sound). Then, I finished reading Pendragon: Raven Rise (cue "Aaah" sound). Then, I went online, still reeling from the awesome and shock that was the book, only to find that the Avatar: The Legend of Aang finale had already shown in the US and had been posted online (cue whistles and applause). It was the best cartoon finale I've ever watched in EVER.

Seriously, it was like an overdose of Good Stuff. I was high for most of the weekend and Monday. It was so good, my dreams consisted of me being a Traveler from the Pendragon books, having to hide away some secret book. Most of the dream consisted of me actually able to make decisions, as if I was awake. Shasha was in my dream. xD And Loor, from the Pendragon books. Grampa dude from the Ben10 cartoon was there. And River Phoenix, dressed up as he was in Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade. Georgina from Gossip Girl made an appearance (she was in kahoots with the evil bad guy, who was Saint Dane - also from the Pendragon books). And ... I could've sworn Prince Zuko was somewhere lurking in the background. Can't be too sure. Oh, and the rock used in last year's drama team was essential to our secret mission. Then there was a nightclub, and Pn. Alainal. O_o Yes. That was the weirdest part, actually. And there was dancing. Lots of dancing and neon lights.

One of the weirdest dreams ever. Even tops the one I had two years ago about Batman and Borders (the book store) and the mysterious "Jagged S".

Wow, typing all this out has made me feel loads better. :) Because there were some events of this morning that managed to kick my spirit around again. Seriously, I have to give it a tougher skin.

Hear that? Tougher skin. Which is exactly the reason why I was miserable. Or rather, the lack of it developing. Making no sense? This is intentional. Remember Wormtail? From Harry Potter? Yeah. He wasn't a very nice guy. :( I feel sorry for Sirius, James and Lupin. Poor things. They were like BFFs, but now they're BFFs - 1.

Or, they're nothing at all, 'cause they're dead. Because JK Rowling killed 'em all.

Ouch. Tragic.

It's nearly ...

The AVATAR FINALE is online.
I can't believe it's ending.
Should I watch it all now, or just half or not at all?
...
I think I'll watch just half. Prolongs the roller coaster ride.
*goes into fangirl-mode*

Mind Trick.

So, my sanity has returned.
All it took was a nice, full dinner during which I reflected on how incredibly lucky I am; I get fantastic food everyday, I have a house, my own room, I go to school, my limbs are in perfect condition, my parents are cool, my siblings are amusing, my studies could use improving but damn it, at least I have study materials to begin with, and to top it all off like the huge freaking apple on the snowy-mountain-topped squishy-chewy chocolate cake of awesomeness, I've got friends who see me through it all.
I'd list everyone's name here, but then I'd probably forget to type someone's name out and they'll feel all torn up inside. So I'll just say this:
Every single one of you,
No matter how much conversation we've had,
No matter how often I've sat down with you,
No matter if all I ever see of you is a glimpse in the corridor,
You're all part of my life.
In some small, insignificant way, or a huge one that leaves the biggest crater in my very being.
And I'm thankful for that.

When I started typing this, I had a butt-load of other things to say. Because that one dinner wasn't the only thing to return my sanity, and I'm afraid that my spirit was given a kick in the balls (my spirit is male apparently?) while the logical part of my brain said, "Oh. I knew it. I knew it." for that to happen.
And I still feel that little ache in my heart (yes, go ahead, shoot me for the cliche) when I think about it. Because people probably think that I live in my own little fairy-tale where everything's fine and dandy. And I admit that it's true to an extent.

So, um, yeah.
Things are only bad when you think they are.

And while my brain has the attention span of a squirrel (you don't know just how much I'm geeking out about the Southern Raiders episode in my mind) and even after my return to sanity, I still had time to read a blog post on Dark Knight (and yes, I did squeal), I think it's enough posting from me today.

I'll let the rest of ya'll have one more day to try and watch the movie before me going and crowing about how awesome it was around this blog-space. :)
Ciao.

Oh Em Gay.

OMYGAH!
Avatar Book 3 Southern Raiders Episode!!!
ONLINE.
AM LOADING.
OMG!

[/geeksqueal]

*runs off to watch, howling with glee*

Ps. Dark Knight update will be coming soon! After my sanity returns.

*is feeling particularly miserable*

Didn't go to school today.
Got stomach flu.
Looks like my dream of getting 100% attendance has been foiled! D:
But never mind, I already got it in Form 2.
But still. I feel like crap right now.
No idea if I can go to school tomorrow.
Blurgh.
*flops over*

The last suit you'll ever wear ...

Nope, not this one.
Our first and last day in turqoise.
Maroonies In Blue
MIB
Yes, lame, I know. xD
Not everyone's here, which is sad. :(

But really, following the trend of Men In Black, Maroon really is the last suit we'll ever wear, high-school wise. But we had fun in blue anyway, just for one day. It was awesome; everyone blended perfectly into the background. And recess resulted in all of us scurrying over to Block D and standing anyway. Old habits die hard.

In book-news, I am starting the penultimate Pendragon book. Penultimate means the one before the last one. I can't believe it's ending. A lot of stuff is ending ... but that could just be my feelings towards graduating. Hmm.

The Last Song

UP.
step DOWN.

Cookies for the masses (i.e. the seniors) . Weirdly coloured animals galore!
My personal favourite is the pink duckling. <3
Last Log-In.
I'm gonna sneak in and log-in on Monday anyway, just for the heckuvit.
Last Prefect Recess.
The macaroni was awful. I consider it a symbol of all I've gone through in prefectdom:
Just keep eating. You could stop, but heck, you want your money's worth. And you don't want to waste food.

The Kantin Gang.
Plus Ice-Cream.
Wait a sec, where's Anne? O_o
Before AGM itself.

So how was AGM?
A tad bit emotional. Not as much as last year and the year before, though, strangely enough. I ended up giving a really long emo grandmother story for form 5's speech.
But after all the senior's stood up, there was just one moral to the story, in many different words:

"Don't quit."
"Think twice before you quit."
"Don't quit, let them fire you."
"No, wait, think a million and one times before you quit."
"You don't quit at the slightest hiccup."

It's true, kids! So says the Seniors Against Quitting Society.
Or
SAQS.
We're just saying it 'cause we're glad we didn't. <3

And Azalea came! Pn. M wouldn't let her sit in front though, which was kinda depressing. But we got to throw cake at each other afterwards, so it was all good.

So, tie-less and duty-less, what're we gonna do now?
I like what Pn. C said.
We're gonna go wild. <3>

Yippitydooda.

Totally lame rebellion became just a little bit spicier today, but was still totally lame anyway.
I feel like the week flew past in a blur of muted colours. Why? Is it the weather? No idea.

Tomorrow is Prefect AGM.
The Last Day.
Huzzah.
But seriously, I really am excited. xD

Hit me!

-During very long and tedious agama "how to score" ceramah-
Me: *flops onto Nad and onto the floor out of restlessness*
Nad: WTF?
Azryn: Don't hit my friend! *hits Nad*
Nad: WTF?!
Me: *hits Nad*
Azryn: *hits me* Don't hit my friend!
Nad: *hits me* Hit her back!
Me: Oy vey.

Other than that, school was reasonably bearable.
Barely did my duties because of my totally lame rebellion (which is pretty much like a dead fish - cold and limp.)
Did a pretty good job in PJK gymrama performance. Surprisingly.
And got hit by an epiphany during recess, courtesy of Tarsha.
I want more epiphanies!
God, it sounds like a disease.

Stupid Paper Monkey

Nad, thou art most inspiring.
Mehtinks you have an obsession with monkeys, though.

Plans after SPM:
1) Do happy-dance and other random acts of spontaneous glee in the padang sekolah.
2) Throw out every single book related to SPM and school in general outta my room and into the recycling bin.
3) Get started on Unnamed Story Idea Project Thing (which I will now call SIPUT because it's too long.)
4) Have some kind of huge form 5 gathering. I dunno where or when, BUT I WANT ONE.
5) Start them driving lessons.
6) Start rock-climbing again.
7) Look for a job at borders. Or Kinokuniya. Or heck, The Star, The New Straits Times. <--- I agree with Nad's choices. xD
8) Create the ultimate banana split thingy. Iffah and Sophie know what I'm talking about. :D
9) Start scrapbook of high school years. I really wanna do this. :P
And finally,
10)HAVE A BLAST. This should also apply when getting into university/college/whatever.

I tag;
1) Evelyn
2) Laksh
3) Sab
4) Sheren
5) Shifa

Friday is an F-word.

No warning.
No reason.
"Why?"
"It's Friday."

I would have liked an explanation. Or at least one of you in front of all of us saying, "Sorry, but it has to be done." Not this silent smug-faced act. Passing the task of telling us the news to someone else. I'm disappointed in you.

Well you know what? I'll make you disappointed.
The cert's already with me. I could lock it up in Alaska, you can't do anything.
Five years. Four days won't make any difference.
But thanks a lot for treating us like we're five. Much appreciated.

And y'know, if this is a GOTCHA situation?
That would SUCK. BIG time.

stuff

Happy Belated Birthday Keerthana!
Happy Belated Birthday Alny!

and
Happy Birthday Stephanie!
We're all getting older, but Steph will be forever younger than the rest of us. xD

---
DeviantArt is not showing up on my computer. This makes me very sad. :( I can't draw anything properly lately, and even though looking at some of the awesome artists there makes me even more miserable, at least I'll get some sort of inspiration. There're tutorials there that I really want to read right now.

---
And even though it's been a few days, this is my Hari K update.
Proof of who stayed back to clean up the class stall. :)

Not much of a photodump I'm afraid. I took a whole lotta pics, but there's nothing particularly interesting.

I went into the Rumah Hantu with Sophie, Aidil, Farah, Vivien and Aisyah. Aidil went running out before it even started, which was kinda depressing. Sophie ran after her to get her back in and ended up not going either. So there were the four of us. I, personally, though that it was awesome. But that could be due to the fact that the people I went in with where scared out of their minds. Farah kept grabbing my shirt and going, "Are you Sara?" And I'd say, "Yeah, it's me."

Towards the end, there was a lot of sticky slippery stuff on the floor and I slipped, falling on a mattress. I tried to get up, but fell down again. Then, somewhere behind me, I heard a yell: "You're not Sara!" and there were all these shadows everywhere, and screams and me yelling, "I'm over here!" All four of us ended up falling over each other on the mattress, then one of the ghosts ran over and started tickling me. Which was incredibly freaky. I burst through the exit, laughing hysterically.

Later on, I tried the Flying Fox. Now I can say that I've jumped off the office building. xD I went with Aidil, who ... well, is afraid of heights. She spent 15 minutes sitting on the railing, refusing to budge and screaming threats whenever anyone suggested pushing her off.
In the end, even Mr. H got up from his comfortable bench in the gazebo to coax her into coming down. All these random people were waiting at the bottom, yelling at her to face her fears and stuff like that.

She came down in the end. :)
(I have four photos, just of her sitting on the railing. xD)

It wasn't bad for a Hari K. But I was really sad about the non-existant dunking booth. Wow, I won't have to go on Hari K duty anymore. Awesome.

It's the Final Countdown!
Doo-doo-doo-doo ... doodoodododo!
5 days till Prefect Retirement
69 days till Trials
133 days till SPM
